“I’m gonna be a star…. because… I have nothing left to lose”
Marry the Night above in all it’s mini-movie glory. The song itself actually begins at 8:46 but there’s a cool interlude beginning around the 7:55 mark and that teaser she showed us starts at 9:54…
Her bedazzler leaves us with a fiery ending, and from watching this she needs to direct more of her own videos. This was Gaga through & through.
“May the odds be ever in your favor”
After seeing the trailer above I CANNOT wait for this movie. I read the books and while they were good I wasn’t enthralled with them as so many others were. I feel like though with this trailer that the movie stands to be one of the few that will be much greater and so much better than its book counterpart.
I feel like Rihanna put her diary into this video portraying and depicting past events in her life, most notably the saga that went on between her and Chris Brown. I’m just wondering though how much of the video is based on her/Brown’s relationship. My main concern is the rampant drug use in the video. I mean imagine if she really did all of that… Just imagine how much other artists are also using.
Joykill much? Well the video is certainly not something to watch if you want to enjoy the upbeat-ness of the song. Which reminds me of drugs. They (apparently) make you feel (for a small time anyway) upbeat yet the lives of its users are often dark, miserable, and not upbeat. Parallels between that and the video.
Cheers! Enjoy Rihanna. Enjoy Chris Brown look a like. Enjoy Calvin Harris. But close your eyes.

Whereas the previous Prada post was about the toned down colors this is all about that luscious green bag. I love the simplicity and the boldness of the green.

One of the few blogs I follow religiously, TheBagHagDiaries, just posted her experience backstage at the D&G (aka the LAST show EVER for this brand as Dolce & Gabbana are discointinuing the D&G line and essentially merging it into their main line which for them will strengthen the overall line) Milan Fashion Week show.
Ingrid, who is the blogger behind The Bag Hag, is such an incredibly nice and sweet - oh and HILARIOUS - person. If there was one blogger I’d want to meet it’d be her. Not only is she Asian but she’s so personable.
So to these shoes… How exquisite is the detailing? I mean just look at the prints on the shoe. The pattern on the sole and then the part where the foot rests… Plus the strap, with all that gold detailing. I think if D&G had to have a final show, which sadly they do, then this was and is the perfect way to say goodbye.
